Server
The server is designed for two distribution paths:
Go binary
Single-file releases are planned for supported Linux architectures, with checksums alongside every artifact. The exact architecture matrix and minimum platform requirements will be published with the first release.
Release status: artifact links not yet published.
Container image
A multi-architecture container image and verified Compose example will provide the shortest setup path. Image names, tags, ports, health checks, and volumes will be documented together so a copied configuration is internally consistent.
Release status: registry location not yet published.
Desktop sync
Desktop sync targets Windows, macOS, and Linux. Platform packaging and update behavior will be listed separately so users can distinguish a tested installer from a raw development build.
The Windows client is in alpha. Expect rough edges, missing features, and changes that may require reconfiguration or re-sync. Use it only with data you have backed up independently.
Windows files-on-demand behavior remains unverified. Do not base a storage plan on virtual-drive placeholders until that status changes.
Release status: Windows alpha; other platforms testing in progress; public installers not linked.
Android
The Android client currently carries an emulator-only testing note. Physical-device behavior—including background work, storage permissions, camera uploads, and battery management—needs explicit validation.
Release status: no production store listing or APK link published.
Command line
The CLI is intended for file operations, administration, and automation using scoped tokens. Its command reference and shell-completion instructions will live in the documentation for the matching server release.
Verify what you install
Download only from a repository or release location linked by FileYard. Compare published checksums before execution, read release notes for migrations, and retain the previous binary until the new version and its data changes are known to work.
